Plant based Burger patties Parmigiana with pasta

An American Italian classic style parmigiana made with plant- based crumbed burger patties with tasty tomato sauce and mozzarella. Serve with pasta for a satisfying vegetarian family dinner that everyone loves.

Ingredients

 

1 packet Diamond Fettuccine

5 Let’s Eat Plant-based Burger Patties

2 jars 400g Mutti with Parmigianno Reggiano

150g grated mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil, for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat the oven and place the Let’s Eat Burger Patties on a tray. Follow the package instructions for baking.

  2. Pour the two jars of Mutti sauce into a large pan and heat through.

  3. Once the burger patties are cooked, remove them from the oven. Spread 1 spoonful of the tomato sauce over each patty and sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on top. Return the patties to the oven and bake until the cheese melts.

  4. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the Fettuccine and cook according to the packet instructions.

  5. Using tongs, transfer the cooked pasta directly from the pot into the pan with the remaining sauce. Toss to coat and heat through. Add a little pasta water if required.

  6. Plate the saucy pasta and place a cheesy burger patty on top. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
